Share buybacks down 36% on earnings season
M-O-M fall brings April repurchase value to S$18.7m

WITH earnings season in full swing and blackout periods imposed on listed companies, share buyback activity slowed in April this year from March.
About 20 million shares were repurchased by 14 companies for a total amount of S$18.7 million, the Singapore Exchange (SGX) said in a market update on Wednesday.
