SIA passenger, cargo load factors remain flat

THE passenger load factor at Singapore Airlines (SIA) remained flat at 81.5 per cent in June as both carriage and capacity contracted.
The airline's systemwide passenger carriage (measured in revenue-passenger-kilometres) fell by 1.4 per cent year-on-year while capacity was scaled back by 1.3 per cent last month.
Meanwhile, the number of passengers carried inched up by about one per cent to nearly 1.6 million.
