SIA reiterates 'compelling' offer for Tiger Airways

SINGAPORE Airlines (SIA) has maintained that its takeover bid for budget carrier Tiger Airways is "compelling", pointing out that independent financial adviser (IFA) Maybank Kim Eng as well as the majority of analysts who cover the counter have recommended that shareholders accept the offer.
Tiger Airways' independent directors are also in favour of the offer.
