SIAS urges Fincantieri to raise bid for Vard's privatisation

PRESSURE is piling up on Italian shipbuilding group, Fincantieri, to raise its offer to take its Singapore-listed subsidiary, Vard Holdings private.
Investor watchdog, Securities Investors Association (Singapore) or SIAS, before trading closed on Thursday called on Fincantieri to revise its S$0.24 per share offer.
