SINGAPORE stocks continued on its northward bound journey through February as investor sentiment was upbeat, buoyed by fresh highs on Wall Street.
February's market capitalisation for the 750 Singapore-listed companies was the highest in 19 months, inching up 1.6 per cent to clock its fourth consecutive month-on-month gain at S$930 billion.
On a year-on-year basis, total market value surged 13.2 per cent from S$821.9 billion in February 2016.
