CATALIST-listed Singapore O&G has signed a one-year agreement to provide on-site medical services to SATA CommHealth (SATA) medical centres for an initial period of 12 months, the medical group said on Thursday evening.

In a filing with the Singapore bourse, it said: "We believe that by entering into the agreement, we will be able to collaborate with SATA to both further its social mission through the participation of our specialist medical practitioners, and to allow Singapore O&G to reach out to more patients, particularly women seeking specialised medical services in the heartland areas."

Through the agreement, SATA, a social enterprise and voluntary welfare organisation that provides health screening and general practitioner services, will be responsible for all equipment and supplies that may be required for the provision of said services.

SATA will also pay a service fee to Singapore O&G for all consultation and procedures performed by the latter's medical practitioners over the course of the agreement.

Singapore O&G shares finished S$0.005 or 1.3 per cent up at S$0.38 on Thursday.
