SingPost cuts dividend as Q2 earnings fall 41.2%
SINGAPORE Post's (SingPost) net profit for the second quarter fell 41.2 per cent to S$31.4 million from the previous year, the group said in a Singapore Exchange filing on Friday.
Revenue for the three months ended Sept 30, 2016, climbed 22.3 per cent to S$321.7 million from the year-ago period.
Earnings per share dropped to 1.28 Singapore cents from 2.31 Singapore cents in the preceding year.
Interim dividend per share fell to one Singapore cent from 1.5 Singapore cents in the previous year.
SingPost shares ended S$0.035 or 2.2 per cent higher at S$1.65 on Friday.
