Singtel signs cybersecurity deal in Japan
Singapore
SINGAPORE Telecommunications (Sing-tel) and TIS Inc (TIS), a subsidiary of Japanese systems integration company TIS Intec Group, on Wednesday announced a partnership to offer cybersecurity services in Japan to help businesses build cyber resilience and protect critical infrastructure.
Singtel's subsidiary, Trustwave, and TIS will collaborate to provide TIS Managed Security Services through a new Security Operation Centre (SOC), which Trustwave will establish in Tokyo. According to Singtel, Trustwave's first SOC in Japan will enhance its ability to offer TIS's customers round-the-clock monitoring of their networks and rapid response to cyberattacks.
