Sodexo opens regional headquarters in Singapore at Fusionopolis
Multinational catering and facilities management giant, Sodexo, officially opened its regional headquarters in Singapore on Friday, as part of its expansion plans in Asia Pacific.
Located at Fusionopolis, the new office will serve Sodexo's clients in 15 countries within the region, reaching out to 4 million consumers daily.
The French company also announced that it was targeting a double-digit increase in revenue through organic growth for the next three to five years in Asia Pacific. Today, the 15 countries across the region contribute about 1 billion euros to Sodexo's total revenues.
Sodexo provides a broad range of services in eight client segments -- corporate, defense, justice services, remote sites, sport and leisure, healthcare, seniors, and education.
Michel Landel, group chief executive of Sodexo, said the company is "working closely with the Singapore Economic Development Board to bring innovation into the services that contribute to individual well-being and organisational performance".
With the opening of its regional hub, the company is looking to increase its investments in the region, especially in terms of tripling its regional support team and developing new services.
