Soyabean glut, sugar price skid send agriculture index to 14-month low

A GLOBAL soyabean glut and signs of ample sugar supplies drove a Bloomberg agriculture gauge to a 14-month low. At the centre of the slump in the two commodities is Brazil, the biggest exporter of both crops.
The Bloomberg Agriculture Subindex touched the lowest since March 2, 2016, as both soyabeans and sugar dropped to 13-month lows.
