SPDR STI ETF hit record turnover of S$56.7 million on Thursday

INSTITUTIONAL and retail transactions helped the SPDR Straits Times Index ETF (STI exchange-traded fund) chalk up a record turnover of S$56.7 million on Thursday, bringing its turnover for the March month-to-date to S$57.8 million.
This is more than 1.5 times its total turnover for the whole month of February, and 14 times more than the second-most traded ETF, the SPDR Gold Shares ETF, in the month-to-date, the Singapore Exchange (SGX) My Gateway report on Friday said.
