SPH and TRS editors reach out-of-court settlement
[SINGAPORE] Singapore Press Holdings Ltd (SPH) and the duo behind the now-defunct socio-political website The Real Singapore (TRS) have reached an out-of-court settlement of a copyright infringement suit, SPH said on Wednesday.
In the suit filed against Mr Yang Kaiheng, a Singaporean, and Ms Ai Takagi, an Australian, in May last year, the Singapore-listed media group said that 244 of its news articles had been reproduced or substantially reproduced on TRS website, without SPH's permission.
