FOR the fourth month in a row, the value of the Singapore stock market rose month-on-month in May, edging up 1.8 per cent to $967.86 billion, according to data compiled by The Business Times.
May was also the first month this year where the total market capitalisation was up year-on-year, increasing 1.4 per cent from the corresponding month in 2013.
