S'pore market cap rebounds, rising 2.1% to S$821.9b in Feb
Month-on-month increase in second month of year comes after a shaky January

SINGAPORE stocks staged a rebound in February as the total value of the market grew 2.1 per cent month-on-month to S$821.9 billion.
Coming off a shaky January, however, the total market capitalisation of Singapore-listed stocks remained 16.1 per cent down from a year ago and 4 per cent lower year-to-date.
Gainers outnumbers losers 322 to 286, or about eight up for every seven down.
