MAINBOARD-listed Singapore Technologies Engineering said its aerospace subsidiary has dismissed as having no merit a claim filed in a French court for losses arising from the December 2014 crash of the AirAsia flight from Indonesia to Singapore.

In a filing to the Singapore Exchange (SGX) on Wednesday, ST Engineering said its wholly owned subsidiary, Singapore Technologies Aerospace, has recently received a writ of summons issued in the court of Toulouse, France, for losses arising out of the crash of the Airbus A320-200 that killed all 162 passengers and crew on board.
