STARHUB has launched a new service, in partnership with Hewlett Packard Inc (HP), that provides small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with devices, software and technical support that they require to manage their information technology (IT) needs at a flat monthly fee.

Called the device subscription service (DSS), this is part of StarHub's enterprise hubbing strategy. According to the telco, this is a "first-of-its-kind service in Singapore" designed to help SMEs.

Sebastian Tan, StarHub's vice-president of enterprise solutions, services and delivery, said that the telco will provide its Smart Office Suite and DSS as a "one-stop-shop offering, making it convenient and cost-effective for SMEs to get all the communications services, devices and IT assistance to support their business needs and goals".

SMEs can choose from a variety of price plans to access the right combination of devices that best address their needs over 24 or 36 months. All new and existing StarHub business fibre broadband or business mobile customers can enjoy a limited-time offer of up to S$15 monthly savings for every DSS plan subscribed.
