StarHub's HetNet copes with big surge in mobile traffic during SG50 Jubilee, F1

STARHUB announced on Thursday that its heterogeneous network (HetNet) in the Marina Bay area served hundreds of thousands of its customers during two recent events.
According to the telco, over the SG50 Jubilee and the Formula 1 Grand Prix weekends, its customers enjoyed a 100 per cent mobile service availability, with the HetNet processing at its peak more than 600 GB of 4G data in an hour, surpassing last year's traffic in the area during the same period by over three times.
StarHub first deployed its HetNet solution in The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands early this year.
