Stocks to watch: Olam Int'l, Soo Kee, Sarine Technologies
THE following listed companies made material announcements before the Singapore market opened on Monday.
Commodities firm Olam International on Monday swung into a net loss for the fourth quarter, dragged mainly by a change in fair value presentation of its investment in a producer of sweeteners, and a restructuring of its dairy-business unit.
Jeweller Soo Kee Group posted a 43.2 per cent drop in fourth-quarter net profit, from S$4.17 million to S$2.37 million, it said on Sunday.
Challenging industry conditions saw Sarine Technologies' net profit for the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2015, fall 62.1 per cent, from US$3.89 million to US$1.47 million.
