Sunningdale Tech Q2 earnings surge to S$8.2m
NET profit for Sunningdale Tech Ltd for its second quarter leapt 115.3 per cent to S$8.2 million from the previous year, the manufacturer of precision plastic components said in a Singapore Exchange filing on Wednesday evening.
For the three months ended June 30, revenue rose 6.6 per cent to S$177.6 million from the previous year, driven by growth in the group's automotive and consumer/information technology (IT) segments.
Earnings per share jumped to 4.36 Singapore cents from 2.04 Singapore cents in the previous year. Net asset value per share slipped to S$1.86 as at June 30, from S$1.87 six months ago.
An inaugural interim dividend of 2.5 Singapore cents per ordinary share was declared.
Sunningdale Tech Ltd shares finished S$0.01 or 0.5 per cent up at S$2.05 on Wednesday.
