A wholly-owned subsidiary of Malaysia's Tan Chong Motor Holdings Bhd (TCMH) has won sole and exclusive rights to sell and distribute Nissan motor vehicles manufactured or assembled in Myanmar, giving the dealer a timely boost amid flagging sales in Malaysia.

TCMH's business deal is among the first announced by a Malaysian company following the National League of Democracy's landslide victory in the recent Nov 8 general election, which many expect will usher in greater development and prosperity in Myanmar.
