Techcomp appoints new executive director
TECHCOMP (Holdings) has appointed a new executive director, replacing Xu Guoping who has resigned after reaching retirement age.
Guo Bing, who joined the group in January this year, is currently the chief executive director of Techcomp (Greater China region). He was a co-founder and former chief executive director of Centre Testing International from 2003, and remained its executive director until July last year.
Before that, he co-founded and was vice-president of GREEM Consulting.
Mr Guo, who does not have any relationship with any directors, senior management or substantial and controlling shareholders, currently holds 41 million shares, or a 14.9 per cent stake, in Techcomp, and has a service contract with the firm for three years.
Meanwhile, Mr Xu has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the company's board, and has no matters relating to his resignation that needed to be brought to the attention of its shareholders, or the stock exchanges. Techcomp is listed in both Hong Kong and Singapore.
"The board would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Xu for his contribution to the company during his tenure of office," said Techcomp.
