Thakral Corp reports stronger profits for Q1
THAKRAL Corp's net profit for the first quarter ended March 31 , 2017, more than doubled to S$1.51 million, up from S$625,000 a year ago.
This was despite revenue falling 54 per cent year on year to S$36.9 million, due partly to lower revenue from its lifestyle division.
Gross profit was 25 per cent higher at S$10.54 million on the back of lower cost of sales.
Earnings per share clocked 1.15 Singapore cents, up from 0.48 cent a year ago.
