Tiered data plans, fibre broadband revenue closely watched

THE great migration to tiered data plans will be closely watched this year, as the quarterly earnings season for the Big Three operators is set to begin.
Already, by the end of the first quarter of 2014, the proportion of tiered data plan users out of the postpaid user base had hit new highs of 50 per cent or more across the operators.
