Total market cap slips again, hits 13-month low
Despite rocky start, analysts are bullish for the rest of 2014

THE total market value of Singapore-listed stocks slipped for the fourth straight month amid concerns about emerging Asia, but analysts remain upbeat for the year.
Total market capitalisation as at end-January stood at $873 billion, down 2.9 per cent from December, according to data compiled by The Business Times. This is the lowest month-end aggregate since November 2012, which closed with total market cap of $860 billion.
