STOCKS listed this year have averaged total returns of 3.3 per cent up till November, in line with the 3.5 per cent returns for stocks of companies that went public last year, data from the Singapore Exchange (SGX) showed on Tuesday.
The data also showed a mixed performance for the 24 listings thus far this year - two fewer than the listings for all of last year - with 10 stocks generating positive total returns and 12 registering negative total returns. Total return includes price returns and re-invested dividends. Two posted zero gains. Of the 24 listings so far this year, 15 were listed on Catalist and nine on the mainboard.
