Upcoming Catalist listing Zico attracts high-profile investors (Amended)
ZICO Holdings, a Malaysian consulting firm to be listed on Catalist next week, has attracted high-profile investors through its share placement.
It has raised net proceeds of about S$12.5 million, it said on Friday of its placement of 48 million new shares at 30 Singapore cents each to investors, who include director of Khazanah Nasional Tan Sri Mohamed Azman bin Yahya, CIMB Group chairman Dato' Sri Nazir Razak and FIL Investment Management (Hong Kong) Limited.
Part of the proceeds will be used to expand the business operations, which can lead to potential acquisitions, Zico said.
The group's market capitalisation will be approximately S$80.1 million. Its first day of trading is expected on Tuesday.
An earlier version of the story incorrectly stated Zico's first day of trading. The article has been revised to reflect this.
