THE US dollar steadied against a basket of major currencies on Tuesday, having unwound most of its post-payrolls gains on lingering worries about whether US authorities are comfortable with its recent strength.
With two-year Treasury yields having fallen back towards pre-jobs data levels, there are also indications that rates markets are having a hard time factoring in a Federal Reserve rate hike later this year.
