PUTTING a disappointing quarter weighed down by delays and overcapacity behind it, shipbuilder Vard Holdings seems intent on making up for dashed hopes.
The mainboard-listed firm just clinched its second contract in the second quarter, this time to construct an offshore support vessel of Rolls-Royce design for one billion Norwegian krone (S$210 million) from repeat customer Island Offshore.
