When agents migrate, it takes two to tango
It may be more than just pull factors that drew 300 GE agents to AIA's FA unit
IT'S been argued that technically, one can tango, but it definitely took two to dance in the latest poaching incident in the insurance industry.
At risk of sounding sympathetic to those now viewed in an unflattering light in the aftermath of the incident, let us not forget that there are typically push and pull factors in any performing individual's decision to stick around or not, lest they get culled which then means there is no such option available.
And so, this same theory applied in the case of the move of the 300 Great Eastern (GE) agents who are either in the process of joining or have joined AIA's financial advisory (FA) arm - AIA Financial Advisers.
