LONDON-based private equity firm AMTC's statement on Friday to The Business Times that its deal with listed offshore and marine group Swiber Holdings is still alive has set the market abuzz with speculation over the role of AMTC in shaping Swiber's application to undergo judicial management.
This adds on to earlier questions raised as to how far AMTC's delayed preference share subscription may have contributed to Swiber's decision to file for the now rescinded winding-up petition.
