WILMAR International on Thursday said net profit for the fourth quarter rose 8.7 per cent, "riding on better performances in most key segments as well as higher contributions from associates".
The commodities firm said net profit for the three months ended Dec 31, 2014, stood at US$401 million, compared to US$369 million a year ago.
Revenue, though, fell 7.3 per cent from a year ago to US$10.8 billion. This was in part due to lower average selling price in consumer products.
