LOGISTICS firm YCH Indonesia has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Indonesian importer and food products distributor PT Pangan Lestari.
Under the MOU, both companies will jointly develop integrated cold chain supply management to facilitate retail, catering and distribution. This will be done through the development and expansion of the companies' existing facilities, as well as the development of identified sites in certain Indonesian markets.
Over the next six months, YCH will also collaborate with Pangan Lestari on a number of areas. They will conduct a feasibility study to help Singapore SMEs explore new markets in Indonesia. In addition, they will offer SMEs supply chain management services such as cold chain, warehouse management and freight forwarding for products such as frozen food. They will also potentially embark on joint marketing activities aimed at potential Indonesian customers, with a focus on quick service restaurants and services for import of raw materials.
