YHM bags deal of over US$37m
Group to lease power generation equipment to South Asian utility board
YHM Group has secured a contract worth more than US$37 million over a 20-year period to lease a set of hydroelectric power-generation equipment for power supply to a national utility board in South Asia.
The company expects the lease to commence after the commissioning of the power plant, which is expected before the end of this year.
The new deal will enable the company to diversify its earnings stream and establish a foothold in the energy-services business segment, YHM Group said in a statement yesterday.
