Yoma declares US fund as substantial shareholder since October
YOMA Strategic Holdings said on Monday that US investment firm Eaton Vance Corp has been a substantial shareholder of the company since October.
"Our security ownership monitoring process was inadvertently excluding ownership positions in the listed issuer," Yoma's regulatory filing quoted Eaton as saying.
"Following communication with an employee of the listed issuer, we learned that our aggregate interests in the issuer's securities may have exceeded the substantial shareholder reporting threshold."
Eaton has a 5.02 per cent stake in the company, according to Yoma. Its previous record put Eaton's stake at 4.99 per cent. Eaton Vance was founded in 1944 and is based in Boston, Massachusetts.
