CHARLIE Hebdo, the French satirical weekly attacked in January by two self-proclaimed Islamists, publishes a new issue on Wednesday under heavy police protection.
The first edition to be published after similar attacks in Denmark, has on its cover a pack of dogs chasing a small mutt clenching a copy of the magazine in its jaws. The pursuers include Pope Francis, National Front leader Marine Le Pen and former French president Nicolas Sarkozy, as well as a black dog representing the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria terror group ISIS.
