Coca-Cola West considering alliance with rival Kirin in Japan

[TOKYO] Coca-Cola West Co said it is in talks on an alliance with Kirin Holdings Co.
Nothing has been decided regarding a possible tie-up, both companies said Wednesday in separate statements. The alliance may involve cross-shareholdings, the Nikkei newspaper reported earlier.
