Gas tariff to be 3.8% lower in Feb-April as fuel costs decline

CITY Gas, as trustee of City Gas Trust, said on Thursday gas tariff for households will decrease by 3.8 per cent or 0.67 cent per kilowatt hour (kWh), to 16.80 cents per kWh for the period from Feb 1 to April 30, 2016.
This is due to a 16 per cent drop in fuel costs compared to the previous quarter.
