SEC and Case urge companies to make 'green procuring' declarations

TO encourage firms to be environmentally responsible, more than 3,000 companies including bookstores, retailers and manufacturers, have been asked to declare that they procure wood, paper and/or pulp materials from sustainable sources.
This comes as part of efforts by the Singapore Environment Council (SEC) and the Consumers Association of Singapore (Case) to urge stakeholders in the relevant industries to commit to "green procuring".
