Call for proposals on grid-scale energy storage
Energy storage installed on grid level will help facilitate greater deployment of solar power

SINGAPORE is moving to test-bed a utility-scale energy storage system which, if successful, would not only help with the integration of renewable energy sources, but also raise the resilience of the grid.
The Energy Market Authority and grid operator Singapore Power issued on Thursday a request for proposal for such a test-bed.
