Gavea may bid for Petrobras assets

GAVEA Investimentos Ltda, the Brazilian investment firm controlled by JPMorgan Chase & Co, said it may bid for assets being sold by embattled oil company Petroleo Brasileiro SA.
Gavea, founded by former Brazilian central bank president Arminio Fraga, is considering partnering other investors to buy the assets, said chief executive officer Amaury Bier.
