Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull announced support for two clean-energy bodies, seeking to burnish his government's green credentials with an election in Australia potentially just over three months away.

Mr Turnbull's Liberal-National coalition will keep the Clean Energy Finance Corp and the Australian Renewable Energy Agency - both of which his predecessor Tony Abbott wanted scrapped. He'll also create a new A$1 billion (S$1.04 billion) Clean Energy Innovation Fund, the prime minister told reporters in Bloomberg's Sydney bureau on Wednesday.
