US biodiesel output slowed to 72m gallons in January: EIA
[NEW YORK] US biodiesel production totaled 72 million gallons in January 2015 versus 73 million gallons a year earlier, according to monthly data from the US Energy Information Association published on Monday.
January's output was down sharply from 123 million gallons in December 2014, the EIA data showed.
A total of 545 million pounds of feedstocks, largely soybean oil, were used to product the renewable fuel, the data showed.
