US crude oil exports fall nearly 60,000 bpd in December
[NEW YORK] US crude oil exports reached 441,693 barrels per day (bpd) in December, down some 60,000 bpd from the November record high of 502,000 bpd, data from the US Census Bureau showed on Thursday.
Most of the exports headed to Canada, which were nearly 401,000 bpd, down from the 455,000 bpd in November. Meanwhile, exports to Switzerland were 41,000 bpd, up from November's figures of nearly 17,000 bpd. December exports to Switzerland were the highest on record with the US Energy Information Administration.
