Vopak opens refrigerated LPG facility on Jurong Island

Dutch company aims to offer alternative feedstock to naphtha and feed Asia's growing demand for LPG

Vopak Terminals Singapore's 80,000 cu m facility at its Banyan Terminal is a double-walled refrigerated storage tank operating at minus 42 deg C. LPG is sent through a pipeline grid that can deliver close to a million metric tons a year to connected manufacturing plants.
