[SINGAPORE] H3 Zoom’s artificial intelligence (AI)-powered inspection platform is reshaping building condition assessments, boosting productivity by more than 70 per cent while halving costs.
Its proprietary platform, Facade Inspector, is a full-stack system integrating guided capture, AI detection and segmentation, human-in-the-loop verification and compliance outputs, alongside remediation management.
Beyond detecting defects, the platform generates estimated rectification costs based on defect type and severity, while supporting project tracking and vendor evaluation.
H3 Zoom said that since the platform’s adoption, inspection completion times have improved by about 90 per cent. Inspections are conducted via remote capture, eliminating work-at-height risks and improving accuracy by up to four times.
It also delivers immersive 360-degree imagery with contextual layers such as map overlays and enables users to filter defect summaries by severity and location, with quick access to evidence reports.
The system can detect more than 30 building types and facade defect types – including peeling paint, cracks and corrosion – on surfaces such as glass and concrete.

H3 Zoom said that the platform sets a new benchmark for how AI “can be responsibly operationalised in facade inspection workflows”.
It added that Facade Inspector reduces the need for repeat site visits and enables more targeted interventions, cutting unnecessary access logistics, wastage and avoidable asset deterioration over time.
By incorporating AI, it “enables inspectors and engineers to spend more time on higher-value technical judgement, while building digital inspection competencies”, H3 Zoom said.

Revolutionising inspection assessments
Launched in 2019, Facade Inspector is aimed at modernising how building owners, facilities management teams, developers and regulators conduct condition assessments.
The sector has traditionally relied on manual, work-at-height inspections and fragmented processes, leading to safety risks, long turnaround times, higher costs and inconsistent defect identification.
H3 Zoom has reinvented these workflows with its patented technology.
The company operates in seven markets, offering end-to-end digital inspection solutions, from safe, repeatable field capture using unmanned aerial vehicles and robotics, to AI-driven analytics, prioritisation and audit-ready reporting.
As at 2025, H3 Zoom has completed more than 10,000 inspections across the Asia-Pacific region, identifying about 20 per cent more defects through its AI-assisted workflow.
Its clients include major real estate and facilities management firms such as JLL and CBRE, government agencies in Singapore and Hong Kong, Japanese contractor Takenaka, and regional property developers.
The company also partners JTC Corporation; in a case study involving more than 160 of its properties, Facade Inspector delivered an 80 per cent increase in inspection productivity.
