More stock sells than buys by mutual funds

GLOBAL mutual funds sold far more Singapore stocks than they bought in the three months to Aug 26. Based on the top five stocks, there were net sells of S$1.08 billion, compared to net buys of S$782.2 million.
This week we look at the segment of technology and healthcare stocks, where sells also outweighed buys, albeit on a fairly thin volume.
Based on the top five stocks, there were net sells of S$40.9 million, compared to net buys of S$22.9 million. The top stock among the sells was M1with a volume of S$15.2 million. The top stock among the buys was Singtel with a volume of S$7.3 million.
