12 land parcels for vegetable farming at Lim Chu Kang up for sale by public tender
THE Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) on Thursday launched 12 land parcels for vegetable farming at Lim Chu Kang for sale by public tender.
This follows the AVA's announcement earlier in May that new agriculture land for food farming in Lim Chu Kang and Sungei Tengah will be up for tender from August this year.
These will be the first tenders in about 10 years (see clarification note), and come at a time when many existing leases are coming due in a couple more years.
The tender for the land parcels will close at noon on Oct 26, 2017. More details on the land parcels are available at www.ava.gov.sg/landsales.
Clarification note: AVA has clarified that these will be the first tenders in about 10 years, and not 20 years as earlier reported.
