THE labour movement is shifting its focus in the next four years to show greater care for workers, get their bosses to be fair to them, and grow their careers.
National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) chief Chan Chun Sing in his Secretary-General's Report 2015 released on Tuesday said these targets, summed up as Labour Movement 2019 (LM2019), "will be an evolution of LM2015" - the latter referring to the goals of the last four years: better jobs for workers; an expanded labour movement; and tripartism spread to all sectors.
