A STUDY published on Monday by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) describes Asia as still being a highly fragmented continent where economic integration is concerned, and calls for greater effort to be put into integration to match that in South-east Asia.
The report, put out by the ADB's Independent Evaluation Unit, said South-east Asia was making "substantial progress" in regional economic integration, while parts of south and central Asia and the Pacific nations remained among the least integrated in the world.
