Asian export growth likely to pick up next year: WTO

ASIAN export growth is likely to pick up next year, after a year of flat shipments, the World Trade Organisation (WTO) has said.
In its latest outlook for global trade, it tips export volumes from the region to rise by between 1.8 and 3.2 per cent next year, up from 0.3 per cent this year.
The South and Central America region is expected to post the strongest export growth of 3.1-5.5 per cent next year, against 4.4 per cent this year.
